The content of the calcium and phosphorus positively influences the growth and ontogenesis of the young pigeons. Calcium and Phosphorus as the main elements of the organism are necessary for the proper functioning in the pigeons’ body. They prevent the rachitic changes, influence the nervous system, fulfil the important role in the blood coagulation process, decide about the process of bone mineralization and egg shells, increase the egg incubation, take part in a process of the carbohydrate changes, proteins and fat.
